This knife has a very classical fighter look. The Three Finger is a short little tatical knife that is light weight, easy to carry, stores just about anywhere and up to the task of most cutting tasks you have. The hanle is really just big enough to get your pinky finder on but it feels great used with just three fingers. This knife is ground from 5/32" thick 1095 high carbon steel then differentially heat treated the blade for excellent edge holding and toughness. The blade finish is satin gray which brings out the harmon line and provides a non-reflective look.
This Tracker makes a great camp and trail knife ally. The 3/16" thick 1095 carbon blade is realativly easy to sharpen but still holds a good edge due to the differential harding of the blade. This provides an edge hardness of around 60 Rc with its back or spine much softer in the low 50's Rc and the tip is tempered to 55 Rc. The blade is browned giving it a low reflective finish and a good measure of rust protection. It fits nicely in the hand with a full tang and Macadamia wood handle. I made the Alamo Bowie after the famous Moore Bowie which Jim Bowie is believed to have carried. This pattern has an interesting fighting guard, forged from steel, used to block and catch an apponents blade. The blade is made from 1095 high carbon steel and hardened to about 60 along the edge with about 50 at the spine. This gives the very best in both edge holing and toughtness. The blade finish is gray oxide and powder coated with a tough layer of clear stain.
