1095 High Carbon Steel

This carbon steel is differentially heat treated.

Lepard Tanto

This tanto is 1/4th of an inch thick and made 1095 high carbon steel. It has a satin gray finish on its blade which produces a nice non-reflective finish. The blade is differentially heat treatmented by the traditional clay treatment and as seen in the photo produced a beautiful hamon. This is a full tang knife for maximum strenght and has an epoxy soaked black nylon wrapped over red cobra skin. The skin is real not a substitute. The Jaguar comes with a tooled black leather sheath. The listed price includes free shipping to anywhere in the United States.

Freedom Fighter

This knife has a very classical fighter look. The blade is forged from 1095 carbon steel and differentially heat treated so the cutting edge is a high Rc60 hardness for good edge retention with a spine that in is hardened to about Rc50 for maximum toughness. The handle is curly Koa wood, although it's to see from the photo. The finger groves fit comfortably in the hand and provide a nice sure grip. The guard and pommel are made from brass also a classical look. This knife comes with a tooled brown leather sheath.

Disturbance

The Disturbance is made from 1/4" thick 1095 and is a full tang contruction for maximum strenght. Desert Little Storm Tanto

The Little Storm Tanto is made from 3/16" thick 5160 carbon steel then differentially heat treated. This treatment gives you the very best in both exceptional toughness and good edge holding. The finish is satin grayed and both shows off the hamon line while providing a non-reflective look. Desert sand paracord is wrapped over rattlesnake skin in the traditional Japanese style then epoxy soaked for greater wear resistance. This knife comes with a Kydex sheath.

Three Finger

The Three Finger is a short little tatical knife that is light weight, easy to carry, stores just about anywhere and up to the task of most cutting tasks you have. The hanle is really just big enough to get your pinky finder on but it feels great used with just three fingers. This knife is ground from 5/32" thick 1095 high carbon steel then differentially heat treated the blade for excellent edge holding and toughness. The blade finish is satin gray which brings out the harmon line and provides a non-reflective look.

Tracker

This Tracker makes a great camp and trail knife ally. The 3/16" thick 1095 carbon blade is realativly easy to sharpen but still holds a good edge due to the differential harding of the blade. This provides an edge hardness of around 60 Rc with its back or spine much softer in the low 50's Rc and the tip is tempered to 55 Rc. The blade is browned giving it a low reflective finish and a good measure of rust protection. It fits nicely in the hand with a full tang and Macadamia wood handle. The Tracker comes with a tooled brown leather sheath.

Alamo Bowie

I made the Alamo Bowie after the famous Moore Bowie which Jim Bowie is believed to have carried. This pattern has an interesting fighting guard, forged from steel, used to block and catch an apponents blade. The blade is made from 1095 high carbon steel and hardened to about 60 along the edge with about 50 at the spine. This gives the very best in both edge holing and toughtness. The blade finish is gray oxide and powder coated with a tough layer of clear stain.

Black Hills Bowie

The Black Hills Bowie offers a classical western style clip point Bowie with an upswept point and a lot of belly that's great for cutting and chopping while hunting, camping, horse back riding and it that just looks good on your belt if full cowboy action dress. The blade is made from 3/16 inch thick 1095 high carbon steel so there is no worry about period correctness. It is differentially heat treated with a hard edge about 59 Rc for retention and softer spine for maximal toughness, this guy is almost unbreakable.
